Hi there sis! I’m Rasika Salva, and I’m so glad you’re here. As a Christian mom, wife, and business owner, I’m excited to share my journey and connect with you on this path of faith, family, and personal growth.
My life’s story is a testament to God’s grace and the beauty of diverse experiences, both the good and the not so great. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Belgium, I moved to the United States in 1993, bringing with me a unique perspective as a young immigrant kid whose family sought the American Dream.
Fast forward some decades later, I’m now a wife and mother of two, settled in Florida. I strive to balance the joys and challenges of family life with a deep commitment to my faith. But my journey to this point in my life wasn’t perfect, nor is it still. Every day is a learning curve and I’m here to share this journey with you.
Today, I’m an author and I’m the owner of The Graceful Warrior Boutique, which provides modest clothing options for all ladies. Also I’m excited to announce that in collaboration with my husband, I will be launching a podcast geared towards all married couples and parents in 2025.
This blog is for all of my sisters out there who want an uplifting place where real stories are shared. I’m not in the business of puff pieces, but rather I want you to walk away each week with a renewed sense of faith and purpose in your life. I’ll share in the laughter and the tears with you as we navigate our daily lives.
If you’re a mom, there’s a place for you here. If you’re a wife, there’s a place for you here. If you’re a working mom or a stay-at-home mom, there’s a place for you here. If your kids go to regular school or you homeschool, there’s a place for you here. You belong here, because as sisters in Christ, we all are part of the same family.
I welcome you to comment on my posts. This is a safe space to express our Christian faith and perspective, so that together we can grow as women of God.
Before I conclude this message, I want to thank Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior for delivering me out of the world of man and into a life of service for His Kingdom, to do things in His name, and for opening the door to make this blog a reality.
I pray that He work through me as I share my words with you, that you may be blessed when reading them. I pray for a covering of divine protection over you and your family, that you and yours may feel His Holy Spirit around and in you for all of your days. I plead this prayer of blessing in the holy blood of the lamb.
All glory and praise be to you, God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
